Greetings, everyone!

Hey all!  Welcome to our very first Hope of God, Ipoh blog!

As you can see, some edits have been done and there’s more to come (am thinking of getting a nice official group shot soon)!  For those who have just begun to use WordPress (or a blog), feel free to ask questions if you’re not too sure on how to go about using it.

Here are the few basic things you need to know:

• Login first.  (Lol.)
• The ‘Dashboard’ is where all the main controls are.  Write a new post, add widgets, edit your profile…anything-lah.
• If you want to add photos to your post, it is advisable to use a third-party host (i.e. Flickr, Photobucket, etc.)  Upload your photos there, and you’ll be able to retrieve the URL of the photo (i.e. “http://iamhotandspicy.jpg”).  Then, back at WordPress, at the Write section, click on the tree icon and insert the URL.  That simple.
• When you’re writing, take a look at the right section of your page, under ‘Categories’.  You can select the Category that you feel suits your post.  If you want to add other types of Categories which are not listed, by all means, go ahead.
